It's Time to Start a Long-Term Adsense Strategy for Your Websites

In the last couple of years, a lot has changed with the explosion of Google Adsense, many people built hundred or perhaps thousands of sites in order to make money on the Internet. As the online landscape continues to change, this approach may no longer work effectively. It's time to switch gears and take time to strategize.

If you've been in the Adsense game for the last several years than you know how much people were capable of making. This has changed drastically over the last year.

Once the search engines got smart, they started to use better algorithms that cleared away and deindexed lots of automated and poor content sites. Most SEO’s agree that search engines are looking for better quality sites that offer good information to their customers. A good rule of thumb is to start producing true content sites or at least provide good information on your web pages besides contextual advertisements and banner ads.

Don’t throw good money after bad money. There are plenty of resources to help you monetize your web site. Now more than ever find out if these tools work and are useful for what you want to build.

Make sure that you invest your time more wisely. It might not be that wise to spend an entire month creating 1,000 automated web sites. Yes, it is possible that these sites will be profitable, but that about the long term instead of going for the quick profit that will possibly only last the next month or two.
