Purchasing a separate IP address is very inexpensive. It may cost $2 a month to have a separate IP address that you can use for your web server or each site on a web server. However if you have several sites, $2 a month can become expensive fast, so make sure you have a strategy in place on choosing the criteria of giving your web sites or servers their own separate IP address.
Practically all web hosting companies offer separate IP addresses and they usually will be happy to comply. When asking for a separate IP address, ask for each address to be different by at least three numbers. Many times web hosting companies will give you IP address in a sequence such as .133, .134, .135.
Makes sure these IP addresses are distinguished from each other in order to get the most out of them.
