The first is to recognize a need in the marketplace. How many times were you doing a chore around a house or shopping at a store and said to yourself, “I wish they had this type of product.” Many people come with great business ideas due to a lack of that product in the marketplace.
For some people they rather not go down this route, because it takes creativity, innovation and sometimes lots of capital to get these ideas to the marketplace. However, if you do come up with a great idea it can be extremely profitable.
The second way to find a great business idea is to see what else in the marketplace is creating wealth. Ebay for example has plenty of products and items that are extremely profitable and easy to sell. If you can’t beat them, then join them. Find a profitable niche and start selling it. There are plenty of people that are selling DVD’s or video games.
You can also be just as profitable. Although competition is sometimes fierce in the marketplace, if you can find a way to get your inventory cheap, then you could well be on your way to making a profitable business.
So whether you decide to create a product from thin air or pick one out of an online auction, finding great business ideas are not as hard to find as you probably thought.
