If you a have a product or service to sell, clearly identify and focus on who your product is geared towards. If you sold a few products, contact your customers and ask them what they are using the product for and how did they find out about your product.
Usually in the beginning, it is difficult to foresee who will be buying your product the most. You might think it is common sense who will be buying your product, but it might turn out that you are filling a niche that you did not expect.
If you are a horrible promoter, bring in help. It's not necessary to hire someone, but rather look for people that can sell your products. You might find professional promoters at affiliate sites as well as joint venture forums.
Building a joint venture with an experience promoter is a great way to capitalize on your product. Your product is worth nothing if you can’t sell it, so find someone that will share the profits but will get the product sold.
Remember, having a great product or service is one thing, selling it can sometimes be the hard part.
