Create a Budget Before You Start to Use Google Adwords

Adwords is a great way to advertise your web sites products or services. It's also a great way to advertise an affiliate's products or services as well. There are plenty of ways to draw traffic to your site, but Google's Adwords is a great way to spend as little as pennies per advertisement.

Not only does Google Adwords level the playing field in term of where you appear in it's search engine, but Google Adwords can send you traffic in as little as fifteen minutes.

continued...

If you are interested in using Google Adwords, here are great tips to create the right budget to draw traffic to your web site. First of all, get to know Google Adwords. Read articles on how people use Adwords as an advertising tool. You can learn a lot.

Learn how to write the proper ads and learn what keywords to target for your specific product. Once you have these items taken care, work on a budget for an Adwords campaign.

Your Adwords budget depends on

  • How many people are competing for the exact keyword
  • How much traffic would you like for that keyword and
  • How much profit can you make off a sale.

It can be anywhere between $5 and $500 a day.

If you profit margin for what you're promoting is razor thin and there are not a lot of people competing for the keyword, you budget could be only .10 per click.

However if you have a great selling product that...

    has a great profit margin,
    competition is fierce and
you want to drive traffic to your site...

you may be spending upwards of $5 to $10 per click.

So before you jump into the Adwords game, do your homework and layout an advertising campaign along with a budget.
